Erin and Walter chose a beautiful Wednesday afternoon in September for an intimate wedding in Forest Park in St. Louis. After a decade of adventures together, they both knew that the traditional weekend wedding was just not their thing, and that they didn’t want an extravagant party to commemorate their moment. Instead they chose a quiet Wednesday afternoon in Forest Park to gather with their best friends and family to say “I’ll love you forever” and it was a perfectly thoughtful and unique intimate wedding in Forest Park in St. Louis.
Erin’s bouquet was from Flowers & Weeds, one of St. Louis’ premiere florists, and she did her own hair and makeup. She found her wedding dress on Etsy and felt so comfortable in it. They chose to take a few pictures at the Cheshire Inn, one of their favorite spots in St. Louis, and then they gathered with their friends and family for a delicious, intimate reception dinner at The Boundary.
When Erin and I were walking to their first look location where she would see Walter before their ceremony, she breathed a sign or relief and said “I’m so glad we’re doing it this way, it just feels so much like us.” I cannot tell you how incredibly happy that made me! If you’re engaged in St. Louis and planning your wedding, I hope you feel empowered to make your wedding day look exactly like you want it. Whether that’s an intimate wedding in Forest Park or a grand ceremony at the Cathedral, you deserve the most beautiful wedding day, and one that looks like you.
This one was a seriously classy, luxurious intimate wedding in Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri. Take a look!
