When Samantha and Chase sat in my living room over a year ago, sippy some wine and munching on some homemade popcorn, they opened up about the dream they had for their wedding day. I remember they both wanted to feel like themselves, not to feel rushed and hectic, but to have space in the day to enjoy their people, eat good food, drink good wine and love on each other. They wanted to create an atmosphere of joy and excitement at their December wedding in St. Louis. They wanted to invite the people who meant so much to them, to keep things as intimate as possible, and man did they do just that!
From a classic Samantha half up hair-do, to doing her own makeup an reading tarot cards with her best girlfriends, to Chase sipping bourbon and playing video games with his buddies, these two were authentically themselves, unapologetically present and so very intentional.
Their sweet ceremony was officiated by a dear friend of theirs, Meredith, and was a beautiful testament to their relationship and family. Samantha’s face when her dad walked her down the aisle is just about as precious as it gets!
The St. Louis Women’s Club is a diamond in the rough! I kid you not, the food prepared and designed by Chef Leon will knock your socks off and the staff is absolutely incredible. Each room in the club is a work of art and it was so fun to walk around and create images with Samantha and Chase. Take a look at the beautiful December wedding in St. Louis!
