Engaged in Downtown Saint Louis | Nervous? That’s OK

Engaged? Let’s have fun with your engagement session. Most of my couples are super nervous when we show up for a session. You know what I tell them, it’s totally normal! The first 20 minutes of almost every session is awkward. We’re getting our bearings, we’re testing the light, we’re taking a quick shot of whiskey to loosen the nerves. You aren’t alone. It’s gonna be alright. I have a knack for making even the most nervous guy, or the most self conscious girl look amazing, have fun, and best of all, LOVE their images.

I make it a point to study my couples before each session. I creep your social media pages, we chat, you fill out my engagement session questionnaire. All of that is designed for me to best serve you on your session day. If I feel it fits you guys I’ll have you make out, ALOT! If I get the sense that that’s not your cuppa tea, I’ll have you move together, cuddle, get cozy, rest with each other. There’s no cookie cutter session. It’s about you and your relationship and should reflect that.

This session with Courtney and Nate, which began at the Contemporary Art Museum (CAM) was so stinking fun. What started out as a little nervousness quickly turned into one of the most fun sessions I’ve ever had, with lots of laughing. There was even a point I had my arms wrapped around Nate’s waist while we were spinning all in a circle to get a shot. See if you can find which shot that would’ve been. You guys, it was hilarious.

I’m just hear to tell you it’ll be alight, your nerves are normal, and I’ll take care of you. Cross my heart.
